OSTOMY ASSOCIATION OF METRO DENVER SUPPORT GROUP REMINDER
What a beautiful time of year.
I am sorry I am so late in sending out this meeting reminder. I lost a day somewhere.
SUPPORT GROUP MEETING: TUESDAY OCT. 26 7PM-9PM VIA ZOOM
I will send out link around 6:30. Please start signing in around 6:45. Hopefully this will work better than last month.
SPEAKER: Dr Nandi was supposed to be our speaker , but due to family situation he had to change it until November.
We have many new ostomates. I am hoping you will be comfortable sharing your journey so far. In sharing what you are going through, everyone may be able to give you some hints as to how to handle different issues. It could be emotional issues, stoma concerns, food concerns, how to make your wafer stick better. Anything!!!
Sometimes doing this may make you cry and /or make another member cry. You are not alone! We have each other’s backs.
What is said in a meeting, stays in a meeting!
Please remember: “Anything you are feeling is normal to an abnormal situation”. Lets chat about that. What are you feeling?
